Sanja was born in the Former Yugoslavia. As a child, she immigrated to the United States and settled in Central Florida. She has lived in Orlando, Florida, practically her whole life. Sanja obtained her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Central Florida and received her Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University, Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

Before joining Bernhardt Riley, Sanja focused primarily on civil litigation in the fields of personal injury and property law. Having served on the Board of a Homeowners Association for over six years, she enjoys combining her knowledge of the inner workings of an Association with her legal experience.

In her free time, Sanja loves spending time with her husband and children at the beach, the park, or enjoying all that Central Florida has to offer. She also enjoys spending time shuffling her kids to their various activities.
